Weston Tourist Inn, Cagayan de Oro City
The Weston has no restaurant and no room service. The place is well worn. The rooms are cheap. If there’s any saving grace to this place it’s that the most upscale titty bar in town is just downstairs. If an overnight stay is not what you are looking for, they have short time rooms (3 hours) for P120 (about $2.40).
Single Room rate is P290 (about $5.75), Matrimonial is P350 (about $7), a pair of twin beds is P420 (about $8.30), and a Family VIP room is P550 (about $11). All rooms have color/cableTV, A/C, hot/cold water showers.
They do not offer internet access of any kind.
Many of the girls that work at Club Troy, the upscale titty bar, downstairs, stay at the Weston and you can meet them in the hallways. If you are into that kind of thing, you can have a great time at this place without ever venturing beyond the hotel.
I did not stay here, but I do know the owner, and he’s a swell guy. Tell him the fat guy with the ponytail and the google hat sent you and you are sure to have a great time (you are unlikely to see the owner at the hotel itself).
