LS2 Pension House, Cebu
The rooms are clean but spartan bare. There was no blanket on the bed, only a sheet. Extra towels will cost you P5 ($0.20) each. I called down for a blanket and was told that would also be P5 extra. They brought a sheet instead of a towel. The did have a well-stocked little store in the lobby where you can buy sodas, beer, and snacks, but that does not make up for the nickel and diming. The worst drawback was the airconditioner: no matter how the fan was pointed it still blew directly on the bed. This might have been fine for other hotels, ones that have blankets, but here it was just unacceptable for sleeping. A big thumbs down for the LS2 Pension House. The room we stayed in was P800 (~$16) per night. I would much rather have paid P900 and had a drawing or two on the walls, a blanket on the bed, and not to have been charged for an extra towel.
