East Capital Pension House, Cebu

One of the better hotels/pension houses I’ve stayed in. The atmosphere/ambience is refined but rustic. The rooms are a bit small, but well appointed. They do have a full range of rooms, from dorm-style to full-fledged suites. Rates vary from P300 for a single dorm bed, to P1980 for the Ambassador Suite. The room we stayed in was P940.

The food was excellent, and the service polite and impeccable. The only drawback I found was that I had to walk down the street to buy a couple of cold beers. Nevertheless, an insulated bucket of ice delivered to the room was free, which is in sharp contrast to most places that seem to prefer to nickel and dime me for each extra towel, sheet, blanket or cup of ice.

    My family are visiting Cebu in January & heard good reviews about East Capitol Pension House. Would you know if they have a website with photos of the place for us the see.

    If they had a site with pictures and content, I would have linked to it gladly. They didn’t then, and they don’t now. It is a decent place to stay. I may very well stay there again.

    no. the rate is the same even if you decide to stay here for a month. the rates are very affordable. why dont you check the website and take a look see.

    i just want to inquire your room rate i like to reserve on feb 2 til feb 20 2008. good for 2 person i prefer small room which i think 900 plus its ok for me . hope you can accomodate
