Elicon Pension House, Cebu
One of the better pension houses, though not particularly remarkable. The room we stayed in was small, with a double bed, but we were also offered a much larger room for the same price, though it had two single beds, with pull out beds underneath, for the same price. They had a special that will end the middle of September of free breakfast, which we both appreciated.
They also offer free WiFi Internet access, but this is running of a WRT54G Linksys router at the reception desk and did not penetrate to the 3rd floor, to our hotel room. I was able to connect from the 2nd floor veranda, but this room is without air conditioning and is simply too hot to endure for very long. Otherwise, they let me plug in to the electric in the lobby, where the AC kept me comfortable, after we had already checked out and had time to kill before going to the pier to catch our ferry to Iloilo. (My WeRoam card also worked well in the hotel room.)

I never been at Elicon, but at a similar place that I am very pleased with.
Clean, cheap and safe. I spendt 500 P a night. It was only a room, but with Tv,cable, cooler,air-con and most important, nice people. Both locals and a few foreigner mixed.
They also offer me houses for 1500, but i liked in Talamban.
