Freddie Aguilar at The Hobbit House, Malate, Manila

Hans Kock, who I met at SEO Philippines, recommended I try the Hobbit House where Freddie Aguilar regularly plays on Monday nights. I loved this place. The food was great, the service impeccable, and Freddie was really rocking, so were two of his sons. I hear his daughter is a great musician also, but unfortunately she did not make an appearance this night.

Freddie’s son, Jeriko Aguilar, came on stage to play lead guitar for one song. His brother, Jonan Aguilar also played some percussion and did a rap, but unfortunately nature called and I missed getting any good photos of him.

I would highly recommend The Hobbit House, especially on Monday nights, in Malate, downtown Manila.
