1st Anniversary Party at The All New Spooks KTV Club Cagayan de Oro
This is my favorite KTV club and the only one I am allowed to go to regularly by my wife. Michael Smith, the owner, recently remodelled the place and put the Stage where the bar used to be. The stage was too small before and the bar too big. Now the place is just right, except for lacking a pool table.

Mike says he’s going to pull down the partition between two of the private rooms upstairs and put in a full-sized pool table, and keep the KTV system, so he should have a setup very similar to Loreto’s on
There is a new dart board, but no scoring board, which makes Cricket a bit difficult to play. He’s got some decent house darts, but I would recommend you bring your own, the flights seem to come off the shafts of the house darts too easily.
Spooks used to have a 200 peso minimum consumable charge, but they’ve dropped that now. The nice thing about the place, compared to other KTV Clubs is that if a girl sits down with you, you are not obligated to buy her a drink. Most KTV Clubs are pushy, trying to get patrons to buy drinks for the ladies. Spooks doesn’t play that game.
They also have electrical outlets at each booth and have free WiFi access. And their dinner buffet is only 150 pesos, eat all you can. I can go in there at five in the afternoon, have a business meeting with some of my managers and be online, with good food, and the happy hour San Mig Light is only 35 pesos.
Saturday night, August 18, 2007, will be the first anniversary of Spooks original opening and they are promising a great show. I’ve booked two booths. I’ll bring my attorney, a couple of PNP (police buddies) and a couple of clients, and of course, my lovely wife.
This is one club that will continue to thrive (no pun intended) because of its superior management and low hassle level.
Spooks also features some absolutely stunning ladies. Princess is perhaps the most in-demand. Big big boobs and flawlessly tawny body. Jacky is the one that climbs the poles and my wife affectionately calls her “monkey-girl”, but she is the best dancer in CdO.
The only place that competes with Spooks is Club Troy. I’ll review it in a couple of days. After the anniversary bash.
