Cagay-An Bridge (5th Bridge)
It appears that progress on the 5th bridge to cross the Cagayan de Oro River has been stalled. Originally with a completion date of August 2, 2007, there is now no projected completion date. Something about “right-of-way issues”.
The bridge crosses from Nazareth to Carmen. In the above photo it appears almost as if the bridge goes directly to Pryce Plaza Hotel, and it sure will make a shorter route to Pryce from downtown CdO, as one of the outlets on the Nazareth side will be to Velez Street.
