The next Foreigner night will be this coming Saturday, June 7, 2008, the 5th monthday of my son. They always have a couple of good bands at Zax and play a lot of oldies, but they do some recent songs, too. The music is a little too loud for me and it is difficult to hold conversations there, but there are usually a dozen or more European/American foreigners there the first Saturday evening of each month. There's also a foreigner gathering every Friday afternoon at Spooks, http://www.spookscdo.com/ from about 4:30 to 8 PM. They have an eat-all-you-can buffet for only PHP 180. There's a pretty good turn out there also of foreigners, their asawas and children. Most people leave before the dancing girls get on stage at 9 PM, but some stay. Of course.
