The Emotion Electric Scooters are here
The first shipment of electric scooters arrived in Cagayan de Oro this past week.
You can view them at Kinse Amigos on Gomez Street between Capistrano and Burgos Streets, in CdO, and also at Door 5, Borromeo Building at Tomas Saco corner 14th Streets, Macasandig, CdO.
For inquiries, you can call 0921-326-7434 or 857-1864.
The models are priced at PHP 65,000 for regular models, PHP 47,000 for models called scooters, and PHP 27,000 bicycles with electric motors as alternative power source.
I have driven one of these and it seemed to have plenty of power. There are several different models available. Some are 800 watts and some are 1000 watts. I had it up 60 kph, going up a hill. I don’t know the top speed, but they have plenty of torque for quick take offs. Also, they are virtually totally silent.

How long does it to take to fully charge one? This is interesting and I wonder if it’s available in Manila.

The literature says they take 4 to 5 hours to fully charge from fully depleted batteries. I am interested in actually measuring the actual kilo watts consumed in charging one of these. In the next few days I will see if I can figure out a way to do the actual measurement. I’m pretty sure they are available in Manila.

A good electric bike has more power than these heavy things. Too hard to fix these chinese things when they break.
60kph going up a hill..? after zooming down a hill right before it right ? slope ?, length ?
How fast ?
How far ?
I think I’ll spend my $$ on a good e-bike
