Iligan Eagles Club Induction
On April 5, 2008, I had the good fortune to attend the Eagles Club of Iligan induction of new members and was amazed to see the club induct 42 new members, putting their total club size now over 200 members.
Two of the new members were Americans who had been offered honorary membership, but they declined and paid the induction fee and went through the seminar required for all regular new members, which made me quite proud of them.
The induction meeting was held at Elana Towers and we stayed there in a “standard” room overnight. The cost was PHP 720, minus a 10% discount for Eagles. This was the lowest price room they had and I was quite impressed by the bang for the buck. The air conditioner was new and worked great. There was a desk where could set up my laptop, dump digital photos to disk, and check my email. The only problem was we had to call the front desk for towels, otherwise it was a very good experience and I would highly recommend Elana Towers to people visiting Iligan.

Hello All,
Good day.
I would like to personally commend Michael Turner (my Kuya) for his exemplary publication and updates of our activities of the CDO EAGLES Club. Not only he will provide information but also give us an idea in a broad manner of what it means to be an Eagle.
To be an Eagle would take you a lot of effort, doubts, and challenges. Doubt, I would say because I know that in every organization lies a possible faction.
However, this is quite contrary to what I’ve observe with Kuya Mike because he always bring with him the spirit of Eagleism wherever he goes.
Effort on the other hand is important for a new member for you to know each and every member possible once a month.
Now, if your in doubt at the very first then you are not challenging yourself to go beyond your limit.
To add it all, whatever your group maybe just always remember that it is very important for us (if possible) to be an active member for all we know we join groups like such to make a difference and not just because you are a group from this organization.
