Firearms not allowed at CdO Airport

I thought this sign was funny:

VIP Escorts with high powered firearms are not allowed beyond this point “Thank You”

This appears to be a sign sponsored by Colt 45 beer.

Is a Colt 45 (Browning pistol patent 1911) a high powered firearm? Not here in The Philippines, but a full auto M16 (caliber .223 is). So, basically, the sign means escorts are not allowed to bring full-auto weapons into the airport. Semi-automatic pistols, including Colt .45’s are welcome, if you are a security escort.
